Beautiful Karabakh, You are Free!

Shusha was founded in 1752 by Karabakh Panahali Khan. The city has a large number of historical monuments of Azerbaijan. It was a place where outstanding scientists and cultural figures were born.

Due to its historical and cultural wealth and natural beauty, Shusha is considered as a symbol city of Azerbaijan.Shusha is also called the cradle of Azerbaijani culture and music.

In the early 90s of the last century, Shusha became one of the main goals of the occupation policy of Armenia.Having enlisted the support of the Russians, the armenians occupied Khankendi in 1991, and on February 26, 1992 - Khojaly. As a result of the massacre in Khojaly, 613 civilians, including women and children, were killed. On May 8, 1992 Shusha was occupied. Subsequently, the armenians occupied the regions of Azerbaijan adjacent to Nagorno-Karabakh.

Thus, 20 percent of the Azerbaijani lands fell under the armenian occupation, and more than a million people turned into refugees and internally displaced persons.Hundreds of Azerbaijanis died in the battles for Shusha, many were captured or disappeared.

The occupation caused great damage to the economy of Azerbaijan. Thousands of people were forced to leave their land. More than 300 historical cultural monuments were destroyed.

After the occupation, the armenians settled in Shusha, where more than 20 thousand Azerbaijanis lived before the occupation. After occupation the names of cities were changed into awful names as Shushi, Varanda, Stepanakert etc.

May 8 was celebrated in Armenia as a holiday, while in Azerbaijan this date was remembered as a tragic day for 28 years.

Finally, on November 8, 2020, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced historical news - the pearl of Karabakh has been cleared of units of the armenian Armed Forces. This news made our people very happy, who were waiting for every tweet of Ilham Aliyev day and night. Despite the curfew, people ran out into the street and shared their happiness with their friends and neighbors.

The next day, on the night of November 10, the end of the war and the surrender of Armenia was announced. Pashinyan's decision to sign the document sparked protests in Armenia. The demonstrators broke down the doors to the government building and broke into the Prime Minister's residence. They did not believe it because their people were used to hearing lies from their government. According to the history of Armenia, they had a whole empire larger than Russian Federation, the so-called "great armenia". If you look at armenian comments on social networks, you will simply cheer yourself up from these fairytales. They claim that the armenians dug the Caspian Sea, built pyramids in Egypt, founded Christianity in ancient Russia and other tales. If you are such an ancient nation, where are the graves of 200 monarchs? Where did you get the surnames "Allahverdian, Tanriverdyan" if you are christians? Why do you have the Ethiopian alphabet?

This is the nation who forget about their child, but grab the toilet. This is the nation  who burn their houses and forests, cut down trees before leaving. This is the nation  that dig up the graves of the dead and take the bones with them. And also when rockets fell on the houses of civilians in Ganja and Barda, it was the armenians who could say that Azerbaijanis were throwing rockets at their civilians.

I sincerely hope that the world will open its eyes and take the necessary measures regarding Armenia.

But it doesn’t matter now.

Karabakh is liberated, Karabakh is Azerbaijan!
